There is basically no way the fight can be scored for Barrera. It was a close, but clear decision win for Marquez. Even if the knockdown had been scored correctly it would still have been Marquez' fight. Any other way is quite simply wrong. Barrera was beaten to the punch, beaten by volume of punches and not only was he out-boxed, he was also out fought by Marquez who actually fought one of the most offensive fights I've seen him in.

It was a great fight and while it was defnintely a clear win for Marquez, it was also quite close. Would have been great to see them fighting many years ago. Marquez would have fought his usual fight and Barrera would have been more aggressive. Hard to say who would win. Either way, it would have been great!

No way Barrera won it though and he most certainly did not 'school' Marquez.

Thank you for exposing this thread, People alway use their own hiding biase to comment on a fight, Why should i take someone who claimed Barrera schooled JMM seriously? He basically came out and said he hates JMM which means his opinion is tainted.

Clean effective punching was all Marquez all night. He was able to land the crisp clean punches the entire night of the fight. Also, forced his fight on Barrera. Controlled the fight throughout, and was able to do Morales wasnt at times and that was out slug Barrera. JMM owned the ring that night, close some may say, but even the close rounds I think JMM won. 116-112 around there for JMM.....

I was respecting people's opinion. I wasn't aditting I think JMM lost only because I hate him and he's a g.a.y. I truly believe he lost to Barrera, But no matter what you say. JMM is still a Schwanzlutscher.
