What people forget is that Campbell fought Casamayor, and Joel was never a big 135 pounder. And Casamayor was probably his PHYSICAL best/strongest at 130. Though, he's fought A LOT at 135. And Joel had virtually no problem with him. Why anyone would think that the faster, and more PRIMED athlete would have a problem with Nate, who's had 4 losses SINCE the Casa fight, is beyond me.

      I think he meant 137.

I actually think 135 is Campbell's best weight. Towards the end of his run at 130 Campbell had stamina issues, particularly in the Francisco Lorenzo fight where he went to extremes to make the limit. He's not a guy who walks around big though, maybe 150 is as big as he gets.

Guzman walks around a lot heavier.

I think I might have misworded that. I mean that Casamayor's best weight was 130. Campbells was/is probably 135.

Yeah, Casamayor never looked better than in the first fight with Corrales. He was in shape.

I agree. Guzman moved up the weights very quickly, now he finds himself in with one of the most dedicated champions in the business. Nates style is all wrong for him anyway I feel. Guzman is frequently lazy - he takes rounds off, rests, coasts, looks busy doing nothing - yes, in between he can be a firecracker reeling off combinations and looping heavy punches, but in those moments when he's in third gear Campbell can get on him and punish him.

Who won two eliminators and beat up an undefeated champion Juan Diaz to take three belts at 135 pounds.

I don't have much in points but I'd bet what I have come fight time on Guzman if anybody's interested.
