If it was so clearly, there wouldn't have been a rematch....

During the fight with Arguello, Pryor just looked very exhausted. He did have enough to finish strong as always though.

You ignore the fact that Mayweather had hand problems that fight and he easily came to win the 2nd fight. People will always use the JLC vs Mayweather I fight for everything. Like, When people said JLC beat Mayweather in the 1st fight! Think what Hatton or DLH would do. Zocalo your in that same ****ty boat

Maybe because Castillo was Champion and deserves a rematch for his efforts and he was a rematch clause he was the holder of the title at the time of the fight.

So in other words Mayweather never had problems ever in his career... and it would make perfect sense to assume that vs the best 140 fighter of all time... Ok buddy...

Yes JLC gave him problems but setting that as an example wouldn't do you any good. Mayweather had hand problems. In my opinion JLC is the best inside fighter Mayweather has ever faced, people act like JLC was a BUM when he clearly wasn't. He was the best 135 pounder at the time...He may stink right now but that is becuz that battles he fought with Mayweather and especially Chico.

"Gimme the one I mix!!!" is one of my favorite quotes ever. Pryor didn't need it, though.

I think he's one of the few 140 and under fighters that I'd pick to beat Mayweather. His workrate would be enough to win a lot of rounds and his chin could stand up to Mayweather's ultra-sharp punches. Watching old Pryor fights...that man was a beast. I can't believe Hatton fans think that Hatton is the best 140 lber ever; I don't think Hatton lasts 5 with Pryor.

Pryor and Castillo did not have the same fighting style. To say that Mayweather would have issues with Pryor just cause he had issues with JLC is pretty silly.

Now I think Pryor is historically overrated, especially on message boards, but I have a tough time seeing anyone at 140 having an easy time with a prime Pryor.
