I think Cotto has the best chance. Cotto has problems with pressure fighters like Margarito and Mayweather is not one of them. Cotto hits harder than Mayweather and is almost as fast. I'd say he'd have the best chance of beating PBF.
Margarito would not beat Mayweather IMO. Cotto was foolish in deciding to trade with Marg, because he thought that it would make a more interesting fight, which it did. Mayweather doesn't care about how entertaining a fight something is, he just wants the W, and he'll run around the ring for twelve rounds and decision Marg if he has to.
Williams, Clottey, or Mosley most likely won't beat Mayweather, but Berto I think may give Floyd a run for his money.

Cotto wanted to fight Mayweather ask deevel to put the quotes off them at 140. Cotto has always been willing to fight anybody, no matter who. He is a true champion.

I always heard Mayweather claimed Cotto was to green to fight him at 140. He said Cotto needed to make a name for himself or something like that.

I think Clottey may have the better chance but he wouldnt win either. He takes to long to get started but we all know he can **** with the best of them. Cotto has a weak chin and if he runs out of gas, he's doomed. He also get with to much. I like Cotto but he didnt show me anything in the Margarito fight to make me think he would defeat Floyd. Margarito and Williams despite their height advantage and punch out put get outboxed easily. Mayweather beats them all.

A champion is defined as someone willing to take on all comers, so yes he is a champion. He is willing to take on everyone.
