    Olympic Boxers

    watching the olympics right now on CNBC, currently showing the liight welters... and just curious to know, how many fights do you think these kids have had? i would assume that this is near the end of their amatuer career and plan on turning pro after the games...

    At the lighter weights, many top-tier Olympians have had about 10 years or more of amateur experience and are nearing the top of their game or about to tuen pro. I would assume that they would have many, 60-70 or so, bouts under their belts.

        most well seasoned olympians have has around 10 years of amateur experience and some have had up to 300 fights

        but most have had around 75-150 i think
