Are you saying Malinaggi can't knock someone out? besides having punching power doesn't mean you're not one-dimensional

The corner post knocked Hatton out. Mayweather just shoved little Hatton into it. With a well timed check hook

Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit, or at least that is how the judges see it. How you chose to accomplish that is a matter of personal style. It is really just the rear-line commandos who use terms like "one dimensional." Was the great Joe Louis one dimensional? I don't recall many people describing him with that term, but there were numerous flaws in his style and many boxing techniques that he didn't use.

See I see bias coming into this thread already people are trying to back up their favorite fighters claiming there's not one dimensional

in every sport you have your more direct physical players (e.g. defenders in soccer) and your faster players who rely on other attributes (wingers/strikers)

is one better than the other? no, its just styles and yes both can be one dimensional

running around a ring all night is one-dimensional, coming forward all the time is one-dimensional

then you get guys who can do both like Cotto but perhaps don't do one of them as well as other fighters (i.e. come forward like Margarito)

My post had nothing to do with favorite fighter, nancy. It had to do with your ****ing auto response of "But thats how Mayweather wins". Watch the video I posted, and see if that is RUNNING.
Don't try to take some moral high ground, and say your a fair poster, **** goblin. You're not. Your bias is there for all to see.....

Exactly lacking most attributes can make any fighter one dimensional.

Having boxing ability and speed but no power and defense can certainly make you one dimensional as you will be running from your opponent all night.

Mayweather is the opposite of one-dimensional,if he wants to he can fight off the back foot or be the aggresser and walk his opponent down.Floyd can defend in the pocket or against the ropes. If you think Mayweather is just a runner than you need to reavaluate his career by watching more than one of his fights.
