You're not making any sense again. The fans who were putting him down were mostly Chavez fans. It's easy to be united as you said filipinos fans are because there havent been many high profile fights in which top Filipino champions have gone up against one another. There have been plenty of rivalries between Mexican fighters on the other hand so it's natural that their fans would clash. Mexico has produced alot of talented boxers so they've had the option of following one particular fighter instead of another in the same division. It's actually a common thing, there are also African American fans that will root for one black fighter over another. And what's this BS talk about DLH getting unconditional love by everyone except Mexicans? Mexican Americans are more supportive of him as a whole than any other group. i liked oscar in the start of his career. But even he knew that the biggest mistake he made was fight an over the hill chavez not once but twice.Its like having cotto fight a washed up tito and then watch him beat him to a pulp, you really think puerto ricans will support him the same way, no.
