He didnt feel Arum was promoting him right. He felt that being the best boxer alive that he should have been a huge star years ago. He wanted his face on a building during a fight too in Vegas I remember Lampley saying. I agree with Floyd on this one, it shouldnt have taken a De La Hoya fight and Dancing With The Stars and WWE to get fame not when youre skillwise the best in the game. His camp also not long ago said they were gonna sue Arum for bascially stealing funds in the past, Arum countered with saying that Floyd still actually owes him money, not sure where they went with that as I havent heard anything about it since. Im sure there is more to their feud, Arum probably tried to match him with guys to try and get Floyd to lose who knows.

There are no other details. Floyd wanted big fights that he never got under Arum. When the possible fight with Cotto at 140 didn't happen, Floyd felt he could promote himself. He paid his way out of his contract, Arum sicked Margs on him while Floyd was still at 140, Floyd gets called a coward for some reason, and the rest is history.
