How Can Margarito be Afraid of Someone he's Already Fought?

Not only has Margarito fought Williams, but at the time that he fought Williams it was considered an absolutely ****** move given the circumstances:

For one, Williams was an absolute nobody at the time. The biggest win of his career at that time was Walter Matthyse, which isn't something to brag about. Margarito was taking a ton of risk taking this fight.

Secondly, Margarito turned down an equal payday and a bigger fight with Cotto to fight Williams when he didn't have to. In retrospect, that was probably the ******est thing he's ever done in his career. You think he's going to choose to fight a nobody like Williams over a superstar like Cotto if he's genuinely afraid of Williams? Please...

Finally, people keep bringing up this $4 million offer (which isn't really $4 million for Margarito). Margarito fought Williams for around $1.5 million, which is much less money. Do you seriously think Margarito is going to turn down more than double the money to fight a guy he barely lost to? He's going to turn down double the money for a fight against someone he felt he already beat and that many observers at ringside felt he beat?

To suggest that Margarito has fear of Williams, or any fighter for that matter, is just ridiculous...

Everybody who isn't brain dead knows that this has nothing to do with fear. This is an issue between businessmen, not boxers. Once the money is good enough to keep everyone happy, the fight will be made.

He lost, and hasn't mentioned Williams name since the win over Margs. He will turn down 4 mil because Arum says so, and because he doesn't want to go back to cashing checks he was cashing before. He didn't listen to Arum before and fought Williams, and now he must figure Arum was right lol.

$4 million is probably close to what he has made for his entire career. You think he wouldn't jump at the chance to make that kind of money for just one fight? Even if he loses? He'd have to fight like 2-3 other top guys to make $4 million and there's no guarantee he would even beat his next opponent, Clottey, which is another risky fight. Margarito could live a good life on $4 million in Tijuana...

Do you honestly believe Margarito has no problem rematching Clottey, a guy many people feel would have beaten him if not for injury, for much less than $4 million but doesn't want to fight Paul Williams? That's just pure ******ity and hate...

With Clottey,Cotto and Margarito under contract with Top Rank, who will Williams fight to make a name for himself?

Williams is a nobody and Bob Arum is trying to keep it that way. All Williams can do is beg for a fight but Margarito calls the shots and he will decide when they fight not Skinny Willy.

            Margarito agenda

Magarito should fight the person that defeated him thats Paul Williams. (Oscar gave rematches to the fighters he lost to) Then if he gets past Williams go after Joshua Clottey. Margarito that is how superstars are made. You fight all comers plius these two fighters own world title belts win all the belts and then you can demand. Seems like Bob Arum has him on a leash and scared.

Magarito forgets that at one time no one wanted to fight him. Now the tables are reverse there are fighters calling him out and now he is refusing to fight them.

Also remember Cotto didn't have to fight him but he did, and by the way Cotto will beat him in a rematch you watch and see.

Fight Margarito Fight! You have all three Champions wanting to fight you so fight on. Williams, Clottey and Berto.

He clearly lost to the guy, of course he's afraid of him. Another big loss would probably end Margarito's career as an "elite fighter" since people think beating Cotto makes him elite all of a sudden. He's still the same slow, one-dimensional fighter he always was.

Like I said, only the brain dead think this has to do with fear.
