Looking forward to this fight and the Guzman/Campbell one. My money is on Marquez. Casa looked great against Katsidis, but so should any world class fighter against a glorified clubfighter.

I didn't think he looked great at all, momentum was going Katsidis' way, Katsidis was also ahead on the official scorecards I believe before he got ****** and left himself exposed to that counter left hand. Casamayor looked like an old fighter at times IMO and can't take body shots too well anymore.

Very true if Katsidis didnt get careless he wouldve probably KOed Casamayor.

Katsidis was very green looking in the ring, he was very nervous in the early rounds and once he settled in he got too comfortable after the Knock down and only concentrated on his offense.

Marquez is a very tough adn smart fighter, he has the age advantage and carries a great deal of speed, which I feel is faster than Casamayor

I say Marquez in a Decision or possible KO dpending on how strong he comes in at fight night.

Katsidis was definitely very nervous early in the fight and then got ****** which led to him getting hit by that counter.

It'll be a tactical fight because it's 2 natural counterpunchers fighting each other, I'm leaning towards Marquez in this fight as well, his key in this fight is body punching from the opening bell to wear Casamayor down.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Casamayor managed to hurt Marquez a couple of times because Marquez tends to leave himself open when he goes on the offensive.

Marquez is going to have to use all of his skill to beat Casamayor. Weight won't be an issue, because neither fighter fights on the inside. Both are classy boxers who are fighting a few years too late. Marquez only has a chance because Casa is old. If they were prime, Marquez would suffer his first ko, or get beat up badly. Size then would be an issue. Casa still has the style to beat Marquez, but he is old, and Marquez still has a bit left in the tank. I can't pick either fighter in this fight because I respect both of these guys too much. They are both way past their prime.

i expect Marquez to win this fight in the late rounds. He cant go in though too aggressive or Casamayor will be able to hurt him. Marquez just needs to stick to his counterpunching style the whole fight and it should be a sure fight for marquez.
