Listen, Im not saying this because Im Visayan particulary a Waray, but it isnt coincidental that Visayans run boxing in PI... Ask any Pinoy that knows anything about Philippines and they will tell you that Visayans are the most vicious, dangerous, and lethal people in the country... A simple answer is a lethal ****tail of social circumstance, being the Visayas is the most economically underdeveloped regions in the PI coupled with long standing traditions of tribal warrior mentality...

Im not saying all Visayans are like that but I would not be lying if I said that most killers, dominant gangs, and overall forces of violent crime in Manila, let alone in the Visayas, are of Visayan origin...

If I could make a comparison, Visayas is the Brooklyn of the Philippines... Visayans especially Warays are just tougher than the average Filipino...
