And now I know why Puerto Ricans were accusing Tony of using steriods. Hell they had right to accuse him of using PCP, cuz Cotto hit him with EVERYTHING. He hit him with some hellascious shots.

Everyone I've talked to that watched the fight seemed to be more impressed with the way Cotto fought! It just did not affect Tony; Cotto exhausted himself and maybe damaged himself as much as Tony damaged him and his demise was the product of both. Sorry to bring this up again, but it was a damn great fight. FOTY based on quality, drama, intrigue and interest IMHO.

actually i knew cotto didnt have a chance in hell to ko tony those power shots seemed like weak jabs the way margarito kept pressuring cotto
whats more awesome of the first rounds is the margarito bodywork he really improved that night
i loved the way he ended the fight, throwing feints at cotto he knew he had it in the bag
too bad cotto quit on his knee i woulda loved seeing him knocked out cold on his back

That's why he quit, he didn't want to go out on his back. Would have been great. If they fight again they should get a Mexican referee. Maybe he'll ignore the white towel waving in the corner and help Miguel up when he willingly goes to his knees. The ref can hold him up while Tony pounds on him!!!

more like a german ref i actually saw a video of one helping the german fighter to get up
