amazing how this fight still gets regular discussion and debate among boxing fans, more then 3 years after it happened

Castillo could have been badly hurt with his hands at his sides, sitting on the ropes. Corrales would have taken tons of free shots at him. Kinda like Morrison-Mercer.

i'm glad weeks stopped it when he did, both fighters never really recovered from those wars in the ring

Weeks made the right call. Realistically though, stopping it before it happened would have been the only thing that could have saved either fighters career.

Damn what a fight that was, Yes it was a good call by Weeks as far as the stoppage goes Castillo wasnt complaining about that, I remember he was just mentioning the mouthpiece situation, But the T.K.O I dont remember him saying anything about that.

For a while I wondered what it would have looked like if Diego never had spat out his mouth piece. If he would've been forced to get up before the 10 second mark without all that time to heal...lol Thats all that I wondered after that fight.
