I don't want to hear about Paul Williams, I don't want to be involved with Paul Williams and I sent a letter to Dan stating just that."

OK, but is this edict forever?

"Forever, for anything," was Arum's retort.

What if the offer was raised to $10 million then?

    "It doesn't matter."

look deep into your heart and ask yourself, do you honestly think Margarito is going to turn down a fight with Paul Williams?

I truly don't know. Look into your heart and tell us if Arum was the reason why Floyd never fought Cotto or Margs or wa Floyd ducking or scared of both of them. Margs might take another fight and hope Williams loses so he won't have to fight him again. Who knows.

arum don't want him to fight williams. thats obvious. he wants to keep things in house. clottey, then cotto rematch. top rank fights. it's up to margarito to step up and tell arum to make the williams fight. thats all he's got to do. if he doesn't then he'll be doing exactly what he called floyd out for.

I agree and I made a while back stating that it would be hypocritical of Margarito to keep calling himself "The Most Feared Man" and yet, decline a rematch with the fighter who game him his most recent loss. At the same time, Margarito has shown to be pretty fair when it comes to this **** so only time will tell. Money does change things.

Also, its pretty funny to see all these Williams bandwagoners, not fans, but bandwagoners like boof******* make thread after thread claiming Margarito is scared of Williams when members like him forgot all about Williams when he lost to Quintana and jump Clottey's **** claiming Margarito was afraid to rematch Clottey because Clottey was winning the first half of that fight. Now that Williams is back, boof******* and his sisters are NOOOOOW on the Williams train again? So which one is it? They also ignore the fact that Margo just beat who most consider was the best WW. Tis is not the same situation Floyd was in where he just completely and out right declined to fight ANY one who was considered a logical threat to him. But these little girls dont want to see it like that because they cant keep their emotions in check.

What makes u think this? Cotto just lost to one person same as Williams, Margo, Cintron, Clottey(all of these against each other) u also have Quintana, u got Berto, Mosley will still be around and more guys will come to the pool. So I would say it is as deep as it was last year.

Now if Cotto would have won it would have change it completely because then it would have been cotto on top looking down followed by williams...

Everyone knows Williams will beat him twice.. Margarito's fans are too afraid already and making all their excuses to avoid Paul.

I personally believe that his fan boys came up with that because they don't want Williams to end him while he is still hot from his win over Cotto. I am a fan of Margarito but that was just idiotic to say that. Thats all.
I don't think anyone is saying that Williams doesn't deserve the fight. Whoever says that is an idiot. Williams deserves another shot, but it doesn't have to be right now. Especially with Margarito coming off a tough fight. Let him have a couple of easier fights before he does it again with Williams next year. And in the meantime Williams should fight some top welterweights to further his claim to being the man at welter...

If williams continues to outprice himself then he doesn't deserve to fight margarito...point blank...you want big bucks you beat the best first,,,,

The Margaritas are just trying hard to protect him now. They know how beatable he is especially against anybody his size like Paul Williams. They will continue to talk about retired & semi retired fighters fighting Margarito instead.
