I think DeGale is going to beat Estrada, DeGale is much more skilled and his switch hitting and sharp punching should be able to beat Estrada.

Estrada squares up alot, but you know what, i hope he wins, but Degale looks much more sharp than Estrada, truthfully, Estrada looks raw in there.Comment

I'm not really impressed by Estrada honestly even though he did beat Danny Jacobs to reach the Olympics, he just doesn't look very fluid in the ring, maybe as you said, he's still a bit raw.
DeGale just looks much more relaxed and smooth in the ring, his switch hitting was impressive and I just think he's the more naturally gifted fighter of the two. It'll be an interesting fight nonetheless because anything can happen.Comment

The problem with DeGale is that he tends to lose focus and gets beaten by fighters who aren't as talented (Such as losing to the Aussie Fletcher in the Commonwealth Games).I'm not really impressed by Estrada honestly even though he did beat Danny Jacobs to reach the Olympics, he just doesn't look very fluid in the ring, maybe as you said, he's still a bit raw.

sometimes it takes a fighter that doesn't have a 'clean' style to beat a more skilled amateur who does have a 'clean' style. it takes them out of their element. most elite clean fighters like to fight other guys with clean styles because then it comes down to who has the better skills. sometimes a rough n tough guy who is a little more sloppy takes them out of their element.... i hope shawn can pull it off and keep advancing.Comment

He'd be pretty ****** to lose focus on such a big stage, if he doesn't lose focus I think he has a pretty good chance at winning a medal.Comment

What cant be underestimated is how huge Estrada is. The TV really doesn't do him justice. When I worked out with him, he looked to be at least 200lb, but he was 165 on the dot. I agree that he is raw, but he seems to get the job done.I'm not really impressed by Estrada honestly even though he did beat Danny Jacobs to reach the Olympics, he just doesn't look very fluid in the ring, maybe as you said, he's still a bit raw.
