There's no point in arguing that fighter X could beat fighter Y because fighter X was young and fighter Y was old. Sure, getting old is almost equal to a crime in any sport, but aging is everyone's problem. Everyone is guitly in that sense. It's true that Sahaprom was older than Hasegawa, but that is not the only reason. Hasegawa was simply faster and more skilled than Sahaprom.

I once heard that talks of Hasegawa - Arce bout broke up due to the disagreement on the venue. Arce told him to come to Mexico to fight him, while Hasegawa wanted to make an impactful USA debut by fighting Arce there. I wished Hasegawa had flown to Mexico back then to fight and beat Arce. It's not about where you fight. It's about whom you beat. Hasegawa has what it takes to defeat Arce. Sharp and handsnapping jabs, smooth footwork, counter skills and elusiveness. And he is a southpaw. The only thing he lacks is power. Though he is not as busy as Mijares, Arce will have a hell of a hard time getting into range against Hasegawa.

and the other guy is right you are wrong, Sahaprom was 37 when they first fought! remember Sahaprom first won a world title in his fourth pro fight!!
and he had 50 fights when he first fought hasegawa!!

those of you who haven't seen it should watch Nana Konadu vs Veeraphol Sahaprom! he does very well for a guy in his fifth fight!!

I'd say there are similarities to a prime Bhop, but the way he throws his right jab about there he kinda paws it like Hopkins. They stand kind of similar too. He's very accurate and realies on the left alot like Hopkins is with his right. He uses the ring just as well as Hopkins too.

Veeraphol still only had 1 defeat and had been on a massive win streak and was undefeated for 10 years. Veeraphol had kept dominating competition too and it really didn't show he was slipping. He might have been past his prime, but he wasn't completely shot. They were both very good wins for Hasegawa because Hasegawa looked sensational in both of them.

Maludrottu also avenged his gift against Kelly by a knockout in the 3rd round. Not to mentioned he was ranked at like 6 at Bantamweight. Most of Hasegawa's challengers have been ranked in the top 2. I think only 2 haven't. He has faced the best competition out there between any of the current bantam tilists.
