I got Marquez to outwork Casamayor over the full distance using his sharp combinations and counterpunching to perhaps overcome an early KD in a better than expected fight.


Guzman to win over the course againt Nate Campbell in a good fight with a bit of boxing and a bit of fighting! Quality match but i see Guzman winning a clear decision.


Diaz vs Katsidis is a tough one to call, i think Diaz counts on peeps not handling his constant pressure and flow of punches but i can see Katsidis having the guts and ths stamina to do just that plus he is the ****er here so id go with him possibly by late stoppage but i have a feeling in a rough close quarters fought fight like this Micheal gets cut and the fight ends up being stopped on that.

Ricky Hatton breaks Paulie Mallinagi down with work rate and pressure to win a points verdict in a fight that dissapoints and has a lot of holding

Roy Jones finds enough sneaky right hands to get the win one way or another over Joe Calzaghe, also slowing Joe down with hard body shots after Joe throws ineffective flurrys as Roy covers up

Mosley to have the chin, power and combinations to stop Ricardo Mayorga somwhere around the 6th or 7th round in a lively fight

Yeah the Diaz fight is a tough one! Thats what boxing needs tho - pick em fights! What odds did u get at the bookies btw?
I didnt wanna comment on the Pavlik fight as ive not decided on a winner yet, Pavlik will come at himall night and has power size and grit but That old Bastard Hopkins is crafty as ****! Probably Kelly but dont know yet!

The bet was part of an accumumator of 8 fights mate. id win about £115 if they all came in. Dont think there is a chance il get them all right though as most of the upcoming fights are close match-ups.

Diaz vs Katsidas....hmmmm...that's tough, but I'll ride with the Baby Bull, but he gotta be careful.

Campbell > Guzman by Decision. I think Campbell will output him with cleaner shots.

Hatton > Pauli. This might be a boring ass fight. Ricky seems to be the pressure fighter though Pauli can slip out when he wants. But I got Ricky in a boring UD.

Roy > Calzaghe. I really think Roy is gonna show up for this fight. He looked like the Roy of old against Tito, but of course Tito isn't in Boxing shape like Calzaghe is, but can he withstand Roy's speed? I got Roy by UD

Mosley > Mayorga. This will be fun to watch, but I think Mosley will outpoint him to a UD.

What makes you think he can't? Calzaghe wasn't all that impressive against Bernard let alone being knocked down by Bernard who's never been known to be a power puncher or someone who can knock you down. Roy is a lot more athletic, faster, and probably has more pop than Bernard (even at this stage of his career). I think a lot of Calzaghe fans are looking at Roy like this old washed up fighter...but Roy isn't and has never been an ordinary fighter. I think he has what it takes to expose Calzaghe.

In the last three and a half years Roy Jones has had 6 fights ! lost 3 and been knocked out in 2 of them !
If you think that Jones 40+ year old footwork is gonna get him away from calzaghes work rate for 12 rounds ,then your mad!
The only way Jones can even survive in this fight is to hold,sham, cheat all night like Hopkins tried to !
But Roy is more of a man than that ,and i think he will try and make more of a fight of it than what Hopkins did ,but all to no avail as i think Calzaghe will out work him to out point him handily!
