ali beat 2 different generations of greats. he beat patterson, liston in the 60's. then in the 3 years that he went to jail and the 3 years he took to get into good form again, was a 6 year period where other great hw's made a name for themselves like Frazier, Foreman, Norton and he beat them too. Ali is truly the greatest hw of all time.

tyson didnt have longevity, but he is the youngest HW champion in history at 20 years old... and thats more than Frazier ever did IMO
