I would give anything right now to see Floyd fight Clottey. I think that would be such a awesome fight. Floyd vs Cotto or Margarito are good fights in terms of the names but the fight itself would probably be very boring as they are so big that Floyd would be moving alot and I dont see the other guys landing alot of clean shots on Floyd. Clottey is a big strong WW but unlike some of the others, he doesnt overpower you with the strength so I dont think Floyd would mind that fight as much. He also doesnt have extreme power.
I always say that I would love to see Floyd go down to 140 to fight guys like Holt & Torres because you could see him use his full Offense instead of being on his heels like he has to be at WW. Against Clottey I think you could see alot of that despite his size, since Clottey is not big or strong enough to overpower him like a Margarito or Cotto might could. I could see both guys throwing a ton of punches in that fight with such a high level of skill. It would be awesome to see these guys throw there skillful shots on there opponents skillful Defense. Thats my personal best fight in boxing in terms of skill, great offense, and great defense.
Let me also say that I am praying for Pac to beat Oscar. I think that would bring Floyd back for a big money fight with Pac. Then I could see Floyd going for Mosley, then Clottey, and maybe Berto if he's good by then. Then if Floyd has gained some weight by time those fights are finished and the years he's been at WW, I then think you could see a fight with a guy like Margarito. Let me ask 2 questions. How much credit would you give Floyd for beating Pac & Clottey or Pac & Mosley or Pac, Mosley, and Clottey? The 2nd question is who do you think would win between Floyd & Clottey? I love Clottey also and I just think there styles matchup so well together for a great skillful fight
