It's just the result of muscle gain over the last few years. It was always going to be touch and go whether he'd make the Olympics.


He couldn't have tried to make Light-Welterweight because Bradley Saunders qualified for that weight with a bronze at the worlds (easily outpointing the American Molina).

I'm not sure, He won the European Comp at 64Kg, I have no idea why he entered the olympics at the 60Kg weight class. He should have gone in as a Light Welter

I am pretty dissapointed, I had high hopes for Gavin. I wonder what he will do now, he still is popualr after his Gold at the AIBA Championships so maybe he will go pro?
