Hmm... Domain's going on a rant.

There must be a UFC fight on the scheduled date.

        that sounds more reasonable.

domain is always off on his figures to suit his purposes.

        manny-juanmanuel did what 400K-500K?

oscar is bigger than both put together.

        oscar + mexican-filipino rivalry + #1 p4p fighter + retirement fight = no less the 1 mil. ppv buys.

funny thing is i'd bet marco and erik would root for manny. maybe even chavez and vargas......

All depends on how much people still care about De La Hoya. The boring lull which was the Mayweather fight may have shown the world that De La Hoya is only a shell of his former self. The Forbes fight doing horrible ratings on HBO, by anybody's standards let alone DLH's, may have been the first sign that the public doesn't care about De La Hoya anywhere near where they used to. Still, with this being DLH's retirement party, I predict barely over 1 mill.

To predict that it will break the PBF-DLH record is not only asinine, but shows absolutely no business sense.

Pacquiao-Marquez 2 did about 400k which is the record for PPV buys in a lighter weight class.

                DLH-Pacquiao would do very well.

Are you nuts? Mayorga vs De La Hoya generated 1m buys.. Remember this is Oscar's farewell fight.. Everyone will be into it... 600k is just ridiculous Domain.. You predicted 50k buys for the Diaza and 100-150k buys for the Marquez.. Have you ever gone correct with your predictions?

LOL, so you predict that it will sell more than 2.4 million? Red K for not having any business sense.

with even decent promotion i think this easily beats the PBF vs DLH fight because of the recognition and style of fighters both these guys are. despite the size advantage of DLH we all know pac will not back down!
