What about Mayorga? What if this guy actually made it down to WW for the Mosley fight and looked like his old self? He was so strong at that weight and his chin was just as good as Margarito's. He lost some when he moved up but Margarito couldve lost to those guys too. It would be awesome if Mayorga looked the same and then had the fight with Margarito. Now thats a real war. Toe to toe death match with all punches being thrown. Does anyone think Mayorga has a chance if he got down to WW and back to normal with all his strength?

I dont think Tito really finished him. I think he finished himself by letting Tito get those free shots on him. Thats when it all really went wrong. Still, all of those fights were at much higher weights. Its like I said about Margarito, his chin is great at WW but that doesnt mean it would be great at 160 fighting huge guys with mad power. Thats what Mayorga was starting to do. He also fought a prime Forrest who I think couldve gave Margarito hell at WW. He folded to Mayorga's pressure but his pressure is more fast and explosive then Margarito. Margarito just walks you down like the terminator but Mayorga would try to basically leap on you.
I just feel that everyone was talking about how Cotto & Margarito was going to be a great great fight, automatic fight of the year, and a all out war. It was definatly a good fight but you still knew that Cotto would try to outbox Margarito. Against Mayorga it would be a real war no doubt. Both guys would just meet in the center of the ring and throw bombs until the end. That would be a awesome fight "if" Mayorga still has it and "if" he can even get back down to WW which is a mystery in itselfComment
