Very good point. Roy is a very smart fighter. I don't think he'd take the fight if he thought he couldn't' deal with Joe's work rate.

He was a great fighter in his prime but now all we have is a 39(?)year old shell and if he carries on for to long he is going to get seriously embarrassed.

People now a days stay in shape for years past 39. His straight right would knock any one of us on this forum out cold.

Jones might be shot but Calzaghe is ****in' trash. That makes Jones better.

Joe is gonna win. He still has something left from fighting bums and not real competitors.

I dont care what anybody says MIkkel Kessler and Chris Eubank arent that good of fighters.

Roy doesnt hasnt looked good in a long time, against Trinidad I was praying it was his last fight.

Im rooting for Roy but he isnt the same fighter. In fact I HOPE Roy Jones wins because I dont think Calzaghe should be put on the pedestal he is on right now. He is overrated.

Joe hasn't got a chance Roy has got speed on his side and even before Joe thinks about throwing a punch Roy's right hand will be sitting him on his ass
Man if hopkins is can knock him down roy will have him leaving in a stretcher
the thing is hopkins was waiting for calzaghe to come to him and that suits him but Jones will be looking to take the fight to Calzaghe going to cause him problems 4th round KO jones

Hagler could KO us all too but would you put him in with Pavlik?
                no

The thing is even the fittest 39 year old will never be a fit as he was when he was 29..
Roy is just to old to compete at the top now........sure he has a slim chance simply by being in the ring but thats it.
im looking forward to the fight though i must admit

They said the same about Hopkins...

If you were describing a prime Roy then I'd agree with you, unfortunately prime Roy left the building many years ago.
I still think this is a very dangerous opponent for Calzaghe.
Even a diminished Jones is better than 90% of the names on Calzaghe's resume.
