Vitali tore a rotator calf or whatever in his shoulder against Byrd, terrible pain! try fighting a heavyweight fight weighing 110 kg's with your basically dangling of the joint. It was either stop the fight to be able to fight another day or fight on and risk damaging your arm for good, and not being able to fight again. what would you do?

lol. my post was pro vitali. I think vitali is better than wlad and wlad beat peter even though he got knocked down 3 times(once legitimately). and I know he tore his rotator cuff in his shoulder and you basically use your shoulder for every arm movement in boxing. vitali would have made byrd his ***** if he didn't get injured.

haha, yeah i know you were pro Vitali, i was trying to quote that evil meat guy saying Byrd was backing Vit up. Vitali has real heavy hands, he punches harder than Wlad, seeing what Wlad did to Byrd, you can just imagine what Vit would have to Byrd has he not tore the rotator cuff.

doesnt anyone realize that 4 years out of the sport,,,plus the injuries and now being 37= disaster against a guy like peter who's far from flawless but very strong and durable (when in shape). Im a big fan of vitali but Im also realistic. his timing will be off and he'll be rusty as hell. this is assuming he even makes it to the ring in one piece and doesnt snap something during the fight. he's a longshot. now 4 yrs ago he'd have smeared the mat with peter,,but that time has long passed. he should just stay retired and watch his bro clean house

this is a great match up props to showtime for making it happen. But i got to wonder has Vitaly even fought since his injury? If he had a couple fights under his belt he beats Peters. Now, i think it might go 12 rounds in a sd in favor of vitaly. Vitaly is under rated and if the lay off/injuriees didn't hurt him that bad, he'll beat Peters.

Tarver v. Dawson, people make a big deal of Dawson yet he struggled with Glenn, wtf, should be a good fight either way.

i think Vitali is gunna come into the fight in top shape, injury free, remember he is going to come into this fight very fresh after 4 years out. The fight is still a long a few months away.

very good assessment. I was just hoping he would be atleast 85% of his former self. I think that's enough to beat peter and have a big impact at hw for atleast the next couple of years.

You think Vitali would be able to KO Golota in one round. Lewis was out of shape and past his prime. Lewis had that fight and would have finished of Vitali. Vitali sed he was going to KO when he was unable to see. If you think that was a ****ty stoppage, then don’t watch boxing. Vitali was hurt by a out of shape Lewis, Peter going to beat his ass
GULED- I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, although that was stretching my forbearance a hell of a lot. But on reading this drek, I'm sorry to have to be candid with you.....YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE BLAZES YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT.......The sight of Klitschko's eye was COMPLETELY UNIMPAIRED. He could and did OPEN IT WIDE. And on that point I'm willing to take your money, if you want to give it to me.

Although an unintended bonus, this is very visible on those crappy, light-shaded, computer-enhanced pictures the Klitschko haters like to publish with their letters. Yes, they have blood streaming down his face (much enhanced) from the little nicks UNDER his eye, but that LEFT EYE, which has the cut eyebrow (over which the fight was foolishly stopped) is wide, wide, WIDE open........ If you can't see THAT, then your eyes are wide SHUT.

Also GULAG, it seems that you don't know that Vitaly Klitschko trains to go 20 rounds if need be, and has NEVER been caught fading. His conditioning is a perfect example for all fighters to follow......and everyone except YOU admits that Lewis probably would have been KO'd in the next round, that is, if he could make it to the centre of the ring. You obviously haven't seen the fight or the interview. You silly kipper.
