Trinidad proved himself at 160 by knocking out Joppy in 5 rounds, Joppy was a good fighter and trinidad was the only man at middleweight to stop him, Hopkins and Taylor couldn't even do it. It took a Lucian Bute 10 rounds to take him out and he's a super middleweight. Trinidads downfall after his loss to Hopkins was his inactivity and his level of competition.
To answer the 10-8 round question, it is very simple. One fighter wins 7 rounds, but gets knocked down, the other win fives. The result? A draw on points.
that would be 114-113 in favor of the guy winning 7 rounds
6-5-1 would make it a draw with a 10-8 rd, but judges rarely score even rounds these days.
THanks for the clarification, couldn't be bothered to find a calculator. But your right, even rounds are rare, and to be honest, a little ******. There can always be one guy to give the round for one reason or another.
