he didnt do an interview with HBO, but he did congradulate Margo as soon as the figh was stopped. he went straight to the locker room. in interviews with sites and new outlets though, he made no excuses and declared margo was the better fighter that night.
basically, what you expect cotto before the fight is what you got afterwards.
