Freddie Roach says Bernard will get seriously hurt.

I just listened to Jim Rome and he had Freddie Roach on and Roach said that Bernard wanted to have him trained him for the Pavlik fight and he refused.

Reason because he said he doesn't want to see Bernard get seriously hurt which he think could very easily happen. He said Bernard walked to the wrong corner 4 times in the Calzaghe fight and wasn't right after that fight.

    - He also said that Pac is the toughest and hardest working fighter he's ever trained.

    - He said he learned a lot from working with Mike Tyson but he was very undisciplined and wish he could have gotten to him when he was younger.

    - He said there's nothing personal with him and Oscar but he feels if Forbes can touch Oscar the way he did, Pac can definitely get to him and could win easily.

    - He said his parkinson's is getting worse and worse and that training his fighters has actually slowed the effects of it. Training is what he lives for.

Oh also that James Tony is one of the most talented fighters he has ever trianed but is one of the laziest. He said he tells this to him in his face and they laugh about it but he's being serious and thinks James Toney could have been 10X the fighter if he would have dedicated himself.

The last point is really sad. Poor guy.

I'm sure training would slow that **** down opposed to sitting around watching TV.

Yea but at least he's doing something about it. I have a lot of respect for that guy because he talked about how it's not something he thinks about. He just tries to keep himself active and that makes his body better and his mind better.

I agree. That's the best approach.
