He's a tough warrior who fights his heart out in every fight. I give him his respect for that, but how much longer can he go on with all those shots he takes to the head? Against Clottey, Cintron 2x, and Cotto, Margarito took ALOT of flush shots to the face/head. He has shown that he has a cast-iron chin, and can take a punch, but how long will that last given his style of "i'll take 3 to land my 1". Does anyone see future problems for Margarito? I wish him the best, and hope he never ends up with any sort of permanent damage.
How much longer can Margarito fight with that style?

I would be more worried about the guys he beats down. One beating like Cintron or Cotto took can be more damaging than continual shots to the head if they don't effect you.
From what I know Chavez is fine these days and he took continual shots without really being phased.

it's strange, but i honestly see marg fighting like that no problem. the guys who take a beating and and get damaged in the long run are usual the guys who get visually hurt and fight on cus of their hearts. margarito takes punishment like gatti WITHOUT getting hurt.Comment

I actally thought Margarito was on the slide, turns out I was wrong. In his favour is the fact that he usually beats his opponents into submission quite easily, but against him is the amount of punches he takes even in straightforward fights. I wouldn't think he'll remain as effective beyond say 32, but I might be wrong.Comment
