    Not sloppy seconds
what does undefeated have to do with anything?

just because you are undefeated doesn't mean you're good. just because you have a loss doesn't mean you suck either.

winky was avoided by a lot of fighters. fact. shane mosley was the only one that really gave him a shot. no champion let winky get a title shot before that. he had to wait to compete for a vacant belt.

Probably because he couldn't draw crowds with his boring ass style.

Anyone could use that style, hell Jones picked it up very late in his career when his style was the complete opposite.

bronco mckart was a solid super welterweight for a long time.

if you don't know him you probably didn't follow the division too much a few years back.

robert frazier and j.c. candelo were also good solid fighters he beat.

This threads about Winky, why does calzaghe come into it.

Hahaha, I love it when I state some hate about a fighter and peoples defences are always "compare that to Cal***gy".

I could run off a string of good solid fighters that Calzaghe beat, but they are always classed as bums.

                  As are these.

                    I've posted this before.

Calzaghe's resume lacks big names because he was not backed by HBO or SHOWTIME, Winky Wright suffered from the same thing early in his career.

Hopkins and Jones' resume SHOULD be better than Cazaghe's because they were backed by them, they should be astronimically better. The thing is, they aint.
