Well in saying that Cotto is overrated isn't an insult. People say he is overrated because many thought he was the best pound for pound fighter in the game and that isn't true.

I remember PR fans holding up signs saying "Mayweather is next", I don't think Cotto can beat Mayweather, then again I don't think anyone can beat Mayweather.

Cotto is a very good fighter, who will be remembered as so. I don't think he can beat Margarito no matter how many times he fights him and will have his hands full with Paul Williams and Clottey.

Cotto was not overrated, he just has never been good at dealing with a guy who can take his shots and keep comming. Margarito was is a beast and is probably the worst style for Cotto, both are great fighters and are always great to watch.

Cotto is one of my fave fighters to watch but I would say he has been over rated a tad. His best wins were against Mosley and Malignaggi. Mosley has been beat on numerous occassions and paulie is bobbins. He has alos just quit against a decent fighter with a great chin but tony is no more than that
Now if Hatton gives paulie a good hiding and knocks him out then that will nullify one of cottos best wins and we might just have to reassess the position of Cotto in the p4p top echelons

Cotto is not overrated. Not at all.

Look at his resume so far, good fighters. former world champions or current world champions now.

Anybody esle that night who doesnt have Margs chin would have got owned and dominated by the Cotto that we saw on the 26th. He'll come back, he's not done, I don't know why people say he's done when hes far from it.
