that's probably what kay means, that the Euro's are more team oriented.
The US team played well last year. If they win more power to them.

I just don't want anyone to make excuses for the loser. "If other players were there . . . . . .

The same is true of boxing. No one knows exactly why the fighters winning today are winning. To say "if Kevin Garnett boxed he'd beat Wlad Klitschko" is both nonsensical and disrespectful. It's no better than saying "if Wlad played basketball he'd be MVP of the NBA"

yeah US played well last year, but that's because there more of a team, then in the past (remember the team one year with Andre Miller and I think Elton Brand which flopped really badly?)

^ was in the FIBA's so i dunno how it'll relate to your argument .. but yes I recall the LeBron, Carmelo, Duncan and Iverson team getting the Bronze

*wish we could get a roster list somewhere just to clarify.

I'll agree with that, as you can hypothetical just about anything in sports but what does it prove? not a whole lot

Where is this scoop Jackson article? just wondering as it's came up several times .. is it in SLAM Magazine?

          thanks. wow shoulda known that

the magazine I brought up is a basketball one, where Scoop is also known to write articles for.

not too big a fan of his, as he almost always throws some kind of color/racial angle into his writing.
