Funny how when blacks fail at something, they aren't interested in it anymore.
Blacks get knocked out by whites, and the real ones are all in the NBA.
The NBA players come in sixth and seventh in international tournaments, and they don't take it seriously anymore.
They can't make it to the majors anymore, and it's because the cities lack programs to develop them.

so I'll stick to that, plus why SHOULD the public know who Berto & Williams are, all they would be to them (public) is just two of 4 belt holders in the same division.
granted Berto and Williams are talented, and could very well be super stars but this goes back to what dean was saying how boxing is backing itself into a corner by being mostly on premium cable (HBO/Showtime and PPV)
which by doing so, limits the amount of potential viewers.
because competing with Basic cable, in the long run I don't think Boxing has fared too well.
hell by putting it's biggest fights on PPV, HBO and or Showtime are pretty much saying "pay $49.95 or watch something else"Last edited by MJ406; 08-05-2008, 06:05 AM.
