Lemme get this straight: $750K is "peanuts" to Oscar...so they ask for 1 million?
That is idiotic.
Instead of 2.5% of Oscar's purse, they ask for 3.3%?? ****in Flips.Comment

To make the weigh-in more exciting, Golden Boy should also offer a counter proposal (aka counter-the-counter) penalizing Pacman of US$ 1M for every Pound below 147lb limit (or probably giving him incentive of US$ 0.5M for every pound above 154lb on birthday attire). :-)Comment

DLH is a ***** he should make the 147 pound limit or no fight. He already has a huge advantage in weight and reach at least make the weight u *****.Comment

oscar will weigh 150 lbs on weigh-in, willing to pay even 3 million dollars for excess pound. 3 million dollars is peanuts for oscar.
at fight night, oscar will weight 168 pounds to dwarf pacman.
and the beating of pacman began. pac-haters will rejoice even if the fighter come to beat pacquiao is a pocho.
viva excaret!!! this is now your chance to see pacquiao on the canvass, crawling and begging for mercy from delahoya.Comment

no more excuses then, they will both be the same size. pacman has always weighed in at 145&up for all his fights at fight night. he has always been bigger and stronger than most his opponents oscar will be dehydrated, and weak so pacman has all the advantages now.According to The Philippine Star, Team Pacquiao will make a demand for a bigger fine on Oscar De La Hoya for any excess weight above the agreed upon limit of 147-pounds. As previously reported, Manny Pacquiao and his team are concerned with De La Hoya's ability to make 147 and refuse to take any chances with De La Hoya coming in overweight on the day of the weigh-in.
