Berto pretty much said 2009 will be the big year for him regarding taking on the best of the 147 pound division

but that right now his focus is on the upcoming fight in September vs Steve Forbes.

Welterweight is out of control, no other division has this many wildcards who all have exposure and the ability for every champion to give every other champion a tough fight.

I love Andre Berto, hes a great fighter, and a great person too. when I met him in Vegas, he was extremely humble. But I doubt hell be able to beat Clottey or Marg. I just dont see it happening.
