Margarito should fight De La Hoya, Williams, Clottey, Berto, Mosley, or Cotto in his next fight, nobody else. Judah doesn't deserve the fight and doesn't bring **** to the table. The only other one that might be acceptable is Mayorga if he wins against Mosley and the money is right. He needs to fight a champion at 147 or a big money fight and then the champions at 147, otherwise he's wasting his time in my opinion.
ESPN reports Clottey injured, Judah may get Margarito

So there was a clause in the contract that if Judah lost to a bum the fight was still on just Judah would make chump change? Right... The fact is Mayweather decided to take the fight anyway because his only other big money option at the time was Margarito for $8 million. He decided he'd rather take $5 million for the easier fight with Judah. Also, Baldomir priced himself out. That's why Gatti got him first...Comment

Berto is still very green. And the only current champion who is undefeated, which as you all know means not only allot of fanatical nuthugging but plenty of money to make as well. They will save Berto for Margo when he has a real chance to win, that's if Margo is still the champion (Williams could defeat Margarito again if they fight, he has the tools). The very least you can say is Williams is a very dangerous fight for Margo, so Margo will look for something else in the immediate future. You can make the case he wants to enjoy his tittle. fair enough. DLH would be awesome for Margo but i don't think it's going to happen now. In the meanwhile who is Williams gonna fight? I hope he doesn't move to md and then comesback for Margarito that would be an HUGE mistake which would cost him his career. **** his managers, ****ing pimps.Comment

As strong as Margarito's chin is Zab can ko anybody. But it has to be a perfect punch. With that said Tony will break him downComment

Judah is 5'7 and Margarito is 5'11. If Judah were to somehow win this fight it will be purely on his boxing skills, I mean Judah will have to do his very best not to exchange with Margarito. He does have the skills to do it, he just needs a new trainer, someone who can co-train along with Yoel Judah. As a Judah fan I'm happy about this. People talk about Judah being a gatekeeper or a second tier welterweight, he has too much boxing skills to be labeled as that.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 08-04-2008, 12:43 AM.Comment

I dunno man Judah is on another level than Mayorga. The guy loses to cory spinks, then goes on to get knocked out by a shot coming out of retirement tito, then gets knocked out badly by oscar, then moves up nearly 20 pounds to barely pull out a too close for comfort decision against a pregnant and bored looking vargas.I suppose if he beats Mosley then he's a good candidate, but I'd bet any amount of points or money that this doesn't happen. But then again I'm already in point debt, so what do I know.Comment
