      I'll say yeah...

Even though he would be a favorite against everyone, a lot of people act like he just can't lose... it's absurd.

Margarito would have a very good chance of winning against Mayweather.

Pacquiao's speed is also very good, and Mayweather isn't great against speed.

I pick Mayweather in both, but... neither would be easy at all.

He's "retired" but here's something written while he was active

This is pretty much the position Pretty Boy wanted to be in. To be universally accepted as the #1 pound for pound fighter of the world without even fighting. Yes he's had a stellar career and I don't demean his accomplishments what so ever, but to be truly recognized as the top p4p, he's gotta challenge himself to new heights as often as he can.

Sitting on your wins doesn't cut it and it doesn't guarantee you can't get ktfo in your next fight. He dares compare himself to Robinson and I bet some of you here are even foolish enough to accept it. He's created such a myth of invincibility that he doesn't need to fight for people to accept him as better than anyone he'll face. He's won before even siging a contract.
All he really has to do to sustain his status is to fuel the public's praise by putting on an excellent performance every couple of years and he's back on top for a couple more. Quite franlkly it's marketing ingenuity.

What I notice right After The Cotto/Margarito Fight.

Was How People really started to unknowingly appreciate Mayweather skill,Class, and greatness even more.

For example, Even when Margarito is AT the Height OF HIS career with his win over cotto. People could not just let it be Margarito's Night.

The very first Question was Could he beat Floyd...?

                      And then the arguments began....

Think about that, Even at the Highest Point in Margarito's Career when he has basically become ruler of the WW division, he is still look at as number 2 in people's eyes compare to Floyd and so is every other boxer in Floyd's Generation.

You can not say who is the greatest Fighter in the past 25 years Without Mentioning Floyd and be taken seriously. Amazing right?

You guys what does that tell you from a naked perspective as a human being about the importance of Floyd....

                      I have said this before

It's like THIS,you got Floyd who has risen to the status of running the whole sport of boxing. He has been knocking out and beating all the previous fighters to challenge him. And Now he runs the sport. He is now been sitting fat, and making WAY TOO MUCH money, and really talking **** to anybody who would listen. He has set his aura of invincibility So High that People now want to see him beat at all cost and in effect they have given Floyd status that even some legendary fighters never gotten.

Floyd has become what he always wanted to be.

A Legend while still capable of being active and young

So that Makes you wonder Is MAYWEATHER'S Aura of invincibility too High...?
That is because boxing fans were stll waiting for Floyd Mayweather to fight an elite fighter that was on top of his game. The biggest fighter Mayweather has fought was De La hoya. Fighting antonio Margarito would have been an intriguing match-up and would have proved what Mayweather was really made off. Except now he can beat Margarito and it wouldn't mean nearly as much as if he had fought him before his devastating lost to Shane Mosley.
