i agree, and disagree. of course you can judge it even if you never boxed, but on the other hand it's not fair to belittle a man, and talk **** about him when you have no idea what it takes to make it at the professional levels!

What a crock of ****e. There are plenty of boxers out there who are clueless when it comes to assessing fights that don't involve themselves.

Of course people can have their opinions who have never fought. Many can give succinct opinions as good as any who have fought. it pisses me off though when people who have never fought just discredit fighters offhand.

I've never boxed per se. I do Kyokushin(karate) and have fought in a fair few competitions down the years. You will never catch me calling any competitive fighter a bum, I think its insulting for someone who has never fought in any martial art(i consider boxing one) to discredit any guy that has devoted his life to his chosen sport. IMO there are better fighters than others but anyone that has fought their way to a world title shot gets my respect because it is an achievement very few fighters will ever accomplish.
