How is this thread worthless? I am comparing to fighters who dominated their respected division.If you not going to contribute to this thread, why would post then??

My two favorite fighters.

I was a Wlad fan back in 2000-2001 before I became a Calzaghe fan. But in their overall careers, being objective, I'd have to say Calzaghe is the better fighter.

It's the way Joe adapts and overcomes adversity. See Mitchell fight for example - Joe got up off the canvas and knocked him out! Joe was shaken and hurt by a nasty, deliberate headbutt against Bika, but he overcame and still won. In the Kessler and Hopkins fights, he lost a couple of early rounds, but was dominating by the second half of the fight. Wlad when he was shaken and hurt by the first round headbutt from Sanders could not adapt, and got stopped.

Mind you, Wlad has improved since 2004, so right now I'd say they're equal.
