Yeah I think Paul Williams might just be the kryptonite to Clottey. He likes to rough up his opponents on the inside and counter with accurate shots, but if Williams can use his range the way he did against Margarito and keep a high enough punch output, I think he will neutralize Clottey's ability to find the short counters. Still, Clottey is very good at making it his fight, I think it will be a hard earned UD for Paul.Comment

Clottey would give up the hight and reach advantage, obviously, but he's still have the speed advantage. Clottey also has shorter, straighter shots so he could EASILY counter Williams' punches.
Clottey's problem is that he doesn't get off enough. He really needs to throw more punches. It's not a stamina issue as he always looks fresh and I've never seen him tired in a fight. His defense is also very good and he has good boxing ability, so I really don't know why he doesn't throw more leather.
I'd pick Clottey over Williams and Margarito all night long. I had him winning 6 rounds last night against Judah, too, so I don't know how these damn judges had it so close. Judah wasn't hitting much and Clottey was tagging him all night long!Comment

No idea about that fight ... Im just sure Williams would be more active, but Clottey would also block a lot of his shots. On the other side Williams chin is there to be hit, so I voted Clottey because he might get the edge because of cleaner shots landed. But its a pick'em in my eyes.
Theoretically Williams could also try to just go toe to toe with Clottey like Gutierrez did. Maybe Williams could do better than Gutierrez who lost a MD and it definitely was a close fight between him and Clottey.Comment
