I love it too, especially when it's not De La Hoya being called out for a change. He called out a guy he wants to expose, and I think that's awesome. He probably knows Margarito won't fight him, Cotto is going to be in hibernation for a while licking his wounds, and Williams would probably handle him. Berto is a great guy to call out.

Clottey wants Margarito next but he thinks Margarito doesn't want the fight. So he said if he couldn't get Marg than Berto would be next.

Having not seen Berto in against top level guys, its hard to say. He could blow Clottey out of the water, but from what I have seen up to now, I have to go with Clottey.

Yeah I like Berto but I doubt he is ready for this level of competition yet. I would pick Clottey, probably by a mid to late round KO.

bump...i see this thread interesting now. Clottey is praying every night for a meaningful fight, hes like the forgotten elite at ww. Berto is belt holder at ww but had a very difficult first defense of his title just few days ago and while he showed heart and will, it wasnt really his show, he went through a big and very close fight to get a debatable ud while many ppl thinks he lost.
