Fact is he DIDN'T NEED TO...Cotto and Arum never pursued that fight actively. Mayweather is a HOF legend and P4P picasso...Cotto is an average boxer that was dusted by Margarito.

There is no shame in losing to Margarito.. he is one of the forces in the division right now.
He gave P Williams one hell of a fight as well and Williams is a natural S. Middleweight.
The fact is.. at least he had the balls to fight Margarito when Mayweather didn't.
Until he steps in the ring with any of these guys he didn't do **** and all the speculation of what he would or could do is just that.. speculation and it's irrelevant.

Anyway, styles make fights and Cotto has a better chance against Mayweather then he did against Margarito. Why? Because Mayweather can't physically impose himself on Cotto, he doesn't have Margos power or output. I think Mayweather beats Margo though... It's kinda like Frazier, Foreman, Ali..
