Clotty was straight garbage. I have no respect for anything he presented in that fight. I'm not saying that because i am a Judah fan but because I was expecting more from all the hype about clottey. I had Clottey up by one point because I had it an even fight at round 8. Clottey won round nine and put him ahead so in fact he did win on my score cards. But what a disappointment. Especially for Clottey to act like he did after the fight when he was NOT impressive what so ever.

I was impressed with Judah, he showed will and determination to WIN the fight unlike some of his past fights. Not to sure on the head butt thing, it might have been from a clean punch. Still debatable. But I'm not taking anything away from Clottey, he did WIN. But I think there should be a rematch.

Overall Clottey was garbage. He does have a punch but was schooled in the boxing department but then again so was Marg and he won. I'm just really disappointed. I wouldn't have cared if Judah lost after 12. I just wanted the fight to continue. O well.

Zab has the better speed compared to slow ass Clottey. Not to mention the power difference in huge. Zab has fought the best and has more experience, better defence, foot work. Every possible advantage.

Before someone says he fades late so does Clottey.

Clottey ain't **** bum an overhype dbum he has no business dealing with Zab.

This fight is just a tune up for the Margarito fight then Zab moves onto beating Williams so he reclaims his undisputed welterweight title.

      Zab KO's Fatty in 4.
      Ummmm.....

did you check the pre-fight report card? zab had advantages in almost every category! first of all, had it not been for zab's recent history of imploding down the stretch of fights, he could've easily been the "favorite." clottey was favored slightly because he's more consistent. judah has more talent.

first of all, zab judah is no slouch, for the first half of fights. he took all four beginning rounds from mayweather! including a flask ko that was incorrectly ruled a slip. the beginning of a fight, zab can **** with the best of them. the beginning of this fight, you could see the huge advantage for zab in terms of speed. he was able to shoot more shots off at clottey, and slip alot of clottey's punches. its hard to hit what you can't catch. but that's the natural speed ability zab brings to the table......

i honestly don't know what you "expected" from clottey. the fight went exactly as i predicted. obviously you have never seen clottey fight before. he's not going to overwhelm you with and flash, or dazzle you with speed. what he brings to the table is a granite chin, very solid defense, and a great ability to put punches together. he's not judah fast, but he's not slow, and IMO he has great timing.

judah used his natural ability to keep clottey away the first round. but after that, you could see clottey was able to close the gap and get inside. i fighured judah would be ahead early, b/c he ALWAYS starts fast, clottey doesn't. by the mid rounds, clottey was able to get inside, and land some hard shots, and i knew it was only a matter of time. he hurt judah like twice or three times during the fight! and save for a late flurry in round 7 by judah (his last stand), a KO was inevitable. round 8, it WAS AN UPPERCUT, that opened the cut over judah's eye. fight should've been ruled a tko.

no1 said clottey was going to "dominate" zab judah.....zab is still zab, and first half of a fight, he's as dangerous as any. but i expected clottey to take over mid fight, wear judah down, and i called for a 10 or 11 round tko.......

no need for a rematch here. zab's only chance would be to KO clottey early, and knowing anything about clottey, and judah for that matter, you knows that possibility is slim and none. a rematch would play exactly like this fight played. zab good early. mid fight clottey breaking him down, late tko.

like i said, idk what you "expected" but, clottey was solid against a dangerous opponent..................

I expected a lot more since his fans stated he would beat Marg if there were ever a rematch. What I took from this fight is Clottey would get an ass whopping by Marg. Especially a MARG that just made Cotto quit. So I had HIGH expectations for Clottey. If they fight again, I see MARG getting threw his defense and breaking him down as you say Clottey did to Judah.

Overall I just wanted the fight to continue. What you predicted might have been right on. I just wanted to it to continue. Anyway my overall point was Clottey will be destroyed by Marg. And I don't say that just to say it because i'm not a fan of Marg. but seeing what he did to Cotto. HE WILL DESTROY CLOTTEY. He might have a chin but I think Marg will expose him easy this go around if the fight takes place.

ok either you're an upset judah fan, or an upstart margarito fan. what from this fight leads you to assume margarito would whoop clottey's ass? if anything, this fight should demonstrate how good defensively clottey is. zab is blindingly fast, but the only effective punches he really landed were jabs, and they were moreso to keep clottey at bay. judah is fast, so he's harder to it, dodge, etc. margarito is right in front of you.

what you have to realize is that styles make fights. the way he fought judah, was the way he had to fight judah. he's too fast, so clottey couldn't outbox him. he had to keep trying to get inside, and keep the pressure on zab. as the fight wore on, he became more successful, and eventually got the tko. there's nothing you can take from this fight and apply it to a margarito fight. tow different fighters who fight two completely different ways, who's strengths and weaknesses are completely different.

clottey did exactly what he was spposed to.

its also no secret, he was beating margarito in the first fight before he hurt his hands...........................so if you wanna pre-judge a rematch, do it by the first encounter.

cuz the worst mistake you can make, is to look at how margarito performed against cotto, and look at this fight and try to develop an outcome betw. 2 boxers who had fights w/ 2 diff boxers..........................

if anything, the cotto fight showed, that boxing ability, coupled with defensive ability, are key to beating margarito. i'm not saying who that is....................

I thought Clottey's coach was funny splashing all that water in his face every time he sat down. I think he enjoyed it. lol

Really, who cares???? Bottom line, The Marg that killed Cotto would break Clottey down. There last fight was what 2 years ago, and who won? But I could careless.......

the margo that beat cotto would beat anybody....if they're ****** enough to go front the middle of the ring to the ropes, and absorb punches........

cotto fought ****** at points, and clottey is a much better fighter, DEFENSIVELY than cotto.

margo deserves credit for beating cotto, but you wanna make him god for that one fight. he's flawed, and fighters make fights....................

true, I'm not attempting to make him god. I don't even like him. I actually picked Cotto to win that fight by a 12 UD. I thought what he did early he could do the entire fight. I was way wrong. I think Marg that beat Cotto is different than the one that Clottey faced almost 2 years ago. Yes, Clottey injured his hand and Marg won. BUT I still see Marg breaking him down and winning the fight as of today. Again I could careless about either Clottey or Marg. I just see Marg over powering him and breaking him down like he did Cotto, and I know that sounds like i'm comparing Clottey to Cotto but I'm not. I'm just saying I think Marg will break him down with all the non-stop power shots he will throw and win a UD.

                    • I think zab was fighting a pretty good fight the whole way through, but he really completely bitched out in that last round, if your telling me he couldnt see anything then you must be out of your mind dude was faking. For some reason i always pull for zab judah, hes an exciting fighter to watch, but he bitched out last night which was a shame because he really was fighting a good fight.
I dont think judah should retire, but he should deffinantly consider going down to junior welterweight...
Maybe pick up a fight with paulie malignaggi at madison square garden after paulie gets his ass handed to him from hatton. Both from brooklyn, that would have potential ladies and gentlemen.
