The two fights I've seen Dirrell after the Stevens fight he has looked good. That Paschall guys was looking all right up until that wierd cut was produced. At first I thought he nose was broken and then you see the replay and you can see Dirrell landing on the forehead. How it produced that kind of cut who knows. That **** was squirting out blood.

No. The other guy landed a little bit but he had almost no power.

I have never seen anyone that turns over on their punches the way Dirrell does. His power is underrated and he showed it. He hit the poor guy in the chin and split his entire forehead wide open. Direll needs to tighten up his defense and jab more, then he should be one of the best super middlweights out there. His triple jab is vicious as well.

Dirrell looks a decent prospect, great speed for sure, but he seems like he has pretty poor defence to me and he lacks power. I'd like to see him upping his workrate so as to overwhelm his opponents with those nice fast combos, but I've seen him box very nicely behind his jab before, so whatever works for him.

Its very hard to assess fighters until you see them in with a real test.

I don't know that he hits that hard, but he's not exactly feather fisted. Against Gardner he boxed behind his jab really well, keeping it crisp and hard. I do like the look of him but until we see him against a real live opponent its hard to say.

He doesn't seem like he has power? He split the guys forehead and knocked him down with one single punch, how much harder can a guy hit? lol

I still can't get over Dirrell's cowardly performance against Stevens. He ran like a little ***** the whole fight.

Dirrell will get beatdown when he steps up and faces a top European fighter.....Europeans dominate the super middleweight division

This wasn't a very tough opponent though, although he boxed pretty good. For all that he knocked the guy down he never actually hurt him badly. As for the cut, it was just a bit of a freak really. I'm not saying he has bad power neccessarily but he doesn't seem like that hard of a hitter to me.

So you don't even acknowledge the fact that he has learned from that and have looked better since then? I like how you( yes i know who your are, alt) takes the bad out of fighters carreer's and never look at the good. You are ust another insecure poster that has to bring race in because he doesn't have confidence in himself.
