Pavlik-Hopkins should be World Championship boxing not PPV

word. bernard hopkins is a legend. but put this fight on ppv doesn't make sense. no one's gonna buy this ****. golden boy should learn from top rank. put exciting young prime fighters and boom u got a big ppv fight.

Hopkins lost 3 of his last 5. Come one now. I was backing him for the Calzaghe fight but having to pay $50 for this is a joke. Hopkins has nothing to offer in terms of action. Pavlik will win a close unanious decision.

but consider this .. Pavlik vs Hopkins isn't for a World Championship

granted im pretty sure that HBO's aired non Championship fights under HBO WCB

just something to consider.

I think it's because Pavlik is stepping up in class and wants the extra money, and Hopkins is probably retiring on this fight (or his next if he wins). It's not what the people want, it's what the fighters want. Sounds selfish, but it's the right of a retiring legend and a p4p king in the making. I myself would rather pay to attend the fight than to order the damn thing on ppv, but if I wasn't going I would probably sopcast it.
