Are you saying what Floyd weighed when he fought as a 13 y/o isn't his natural weight?

I dont know what the deal is with people giving Hagler all this slack. He wasn't that old, only 2 years older than Leonard. Ok Hagler hadn't looked his best recently. What about Leonerd? He hadn't been in the ring in 3 years and was coming off of an eye injury...

So when people say Leonard fought the best, well yeah, but they were at his natural weight. Did we see Leonard fight the best at 168 in LaLonde when he fought there once? No, and we shouldnt expect that, being that is way above his best weight.

People forget or don't realize that Floyd turned professional in 1996, in 1993 as an amateur he fought at 106 and in 1994 he fought at 114, nobody moves up like that and if they do its after many years. Again welterweight is 17 pounds higher than his best weight and he even fought at 154 once, 24 pounds above his best weight, people dont seem to realize this when comparing Floyd to others. What you have to ask yourself is whomever you are comparing him to, did that fighter continously fight the best at weights much higher than their best weights, odds are they didnt.

The bottom line is you gotta BEAT THE BEST TO BE THE BEST!

If you don't then you're only second fiddle. We can't rely on hypotheticals and woulda coulda shouldas saying " Well, he can beat this guy and that guy so why fight him "

So save your ****ty logic and man up

Floyd fought in the Olympics, that's why he turned pro a lot later than Pacquiao. If turned pro when Pacquiao did, he would have started at 106 too!

That is a very weak argument. As long as you are in the sport of boxing and #1 p4p, then you should face the best if you want to keep your top spot.
