styles make fights and triangular correlation don't work.
Cotto is still the best candidate to beat Mayweather and IMO he can do it.

If you consider that Frazier beat Ali, Ali beat Foreman, Foreman beat Frazier.

Styles make fights, and I agree with you.

seriously at this point does anybody even think mayweather is coming back anyway??? he doesnt have the guts to fight either guy and is making lots of money elsewhere to even comeback just for the money. so its pointless to talk about it...

I will say that I think Cotto would NOT beat Mayweather.

I also think that anyone who is taking a lesson about anything to do with Mayweather-Cotto from Margarito-Cotto is a moron, because Mayweather fights 100% polar opposite from the way Margarito fights.

I love how everyone that brings up that triangle conveniently forgets that Frazier beat Ali once, while Ali beat Frazier twice after that.

Yeah, but then again...has there ever been a trilogy in which the winner of the first fight ends up winning the third?

Ali/Frazier- Frazier wins the first, loses the next two.
Marquez/Vazquez- Marquez wins the first, loses the next two.
Gatti/Ward- Ward wins the first, loses the next two.
Barrera/Morales-Morales wins the first, loses the next two.
Jones/Tarver- Jones wins the first, loses the next two.
Morales/Pacquiao- Morales wins the first, loses the next two.

It's like it's a unwritten rule in boxing. I think there might be an exception somewhere, but it must be rare.
