I'm not sure any of Cotto's opposition can beat Margarito, considering both Mosley and Judah got pretty beat up by Miguel, but I'd give Williams a chance against Cotto for sure. I'm by no means sure of who would win that one though.

Quintana supposedly would like to face Margarito, but I don't see it happened after his last outing. If it did happen, it'd still be tough to side with Quintana after his devastating loss to Williams. I haven't seen that fight too many times, but if I remember correctly his mistake was that he tried exchanging with Williams, right? Damn.

Williams would have to box Margarito, and I don't see it happening. Somewhere along the line Marg will get in there, and Quintana exactly doesn't fight good on the inside.

Cotto boxed Margarito, and didn't hit him with weak jabs, he threw hard straights whenever he landed short flurries of hooks on the face, and despite it all, Margarito made it through it all.

If Cotto, with all his accuracy and more importantly powerful shots that he landed didn't faze Margarito, I don't see how Margarito could be intimidated by this guy, after having taken down by TKO the biggest rising star to likely challenge Mayweather...I just don't see Quintana beating him. Margarito has room for error, he can afford to pay them (his chin is excellent, his power and body shots are menacing and Quintana wouldn't land, at least in my opinion, punches as hard as Cotto's). Quintana does NOT have room for error. He has to side step consistently without all that bounce that Cotto had, stay OFF the ropes and avoid giving Margarito the pleasure of sneaking in a counter body shot and all the while be focused throughout the fight because Margarito fights for every single second of the round.

Margarito would KO Quintana inside 4, I'm pretty sure.

Well you never know.. Styles make fights. I think Quintana would give Margarito a tough fight due to his south paw stance and him being pretty elusive. Also Mosley would give Margarito a good fight.. I believe both of them can beat Margarito. Cottos loss had more to do with his lack of size against a HUGE welterweight.
