Yep. Announcers made reference to that in his more aggressive fights where he went all out and really ****ed up his opponent. 'RJ' was supposed to be Roy at his most furious. He never had that on his trunks or anything that I can recall.

The only time he was ever "RJ" was him calling himself that when he beat Montell in the rematch

Calzaghe never really had a nickname. For one fight only he tried to be 'The Terminator'. Jimmy Lennon Jr didn't sound very convinced.

Floyd has 'Pretty boy' , Hopkins has 'Executioner' and basically every other top fighter has a nickname of some sort. All Roy Jones has was 'Junior'.

They should of called the ****er Superman or in his latter days, glass.

They did call him Superman. Junior might be a nickname at home but is hardly a ringname as he was indeed Roy Jones JR.
