its tough to say because he got screwed out of the Trinidad and Mosley II wins.

I don't think so, he has fought a very high level of opposition but has lost in all his biggest fights, controversial or not, it will always go down as Ls on his record but DLH will be remembered for a long time either way.

sucks for him, if he would have the nod in the Trinidad fight and Mosley II fight it would probably unquestionable that he is ATG.

I think he does and I don't think it is really even close. Silencers when you say no here can you define exactly what you mean? For instance I think in the past I have seen you say that Max Baer and Jersey Joe are ATGs. Do they fit into that class yet Oscar doesn't because he lost a couple of close fights to other top p4pers?

I regret the Max Baer comment because upon further thought, I don't think he is and even when I said it, I said it was debatable.

Jersy Joe was an ATG because of he did beat a lot of top contenders of the time and beat a fellow ATG in Ezzard Charles, his style also has a lot to do with it, his style was way ahead of his time and he became the oldest heavyweight champion at the time.

DLH lost in all his biggest fights although his accomplishments of winning titles in multiple weight classes helps his cause but he had a huge size advantage against his opponents at 140 and below, he's a great fighter just not an ATG IMO. His best win was against Vargas but the most elite fighter that he beat was a past prime, coked up Whitaker.

              hopkins
              trinidad
              mosley
              mayweather

mosley was undefeated the first time around
              trinidad was undefeated
mayweather was undefeated and yet still were close

If Oscar is not an ATG then the list of ATGs is pretty ****ing short IMO.
