But he lost to most of them, Gatti will be remembered as the Human Highlight Reel, the one who brings excitement to his fights but his accomplishments weren't great.

The flip side is that Klitschko will be remembered as the ruler of a very weak division.

Gatti fought great fighters, had great fights but he did not beat great fighters. He was at his best as a super featherweight.

thats why i threw this one out there

the not so skilled one who struggled with the hall of famers

versus the somewhat skilled guy who just fought bum after bum

Is there is top fighter who Klitschko avoided? Otherwise that contention has no point. You can't create exciting opposition for yourself. Plus Gatti lost to some fighters who won't get one vote for hall of fame.

Now, I love Gatti. He was awesome, so much heart and was great to watch. But the simple fact is, he never beat any great fighters, but he did fight anyone. Gatti will be remembered as one of the most entertaining fighters of out era. But Wladimir Klitschko has a better legacy, He has won the title 2 or 3 times, and fougth everyone there has been to fight. And won, against most of them.
